Let’s Keep our Libraries Open!

Election is May 19!

Vote “yes” on Measure #20-381 to:

  • Keep all three Library locations - Downtown, Bethel, and Sheldon Branches - open seven days a week

  • Prevent closing a branch or reducing hours

  • Maintain access to services including audiobooks, wi-fi, and computers

  • Purchase new books and digital materials

  • Add programs to help children learn to read and to love reading

Your “yes” votes renews levy funding that is already in effect, keeping services in place. It also restores and strengthens programs that serve children.

Libraries are for Everyone!

The Eugene Public Library is a jewel of our community. Every year, the Library serves tens of thousands of people of all ages and all walks of life. With Downtown, Bethel, and Sheldon locations, the Library makes our community and our quality of life better!

Voting Yes Maintains Current Library Funding

Eugene voters have supported the Library with a levy since 2002, providing almost a quarter of the Library’s total budget. The measure continues that support for five years and includes a modest increase* primarily to fund children’s literacy programs.

*Increase for an average home is about $1.40 a month; costs will vary by property
